We'll see if it can occur again. - Fakepartofme

As a nerd, I would like to remind you that size really doesn't matter with superheroes or science fiction. You're dealing with superpowers and magic and an invisible "force" and travel - both interstellar and time. A certain suspension of disbelief is required.
Their size and their reproductive organs are probably not the issue.
If the new Rocky movie had Ariana Grande beating the poop out of Ivan Drago, I'd probably be inclined to be more irritated. - Monkeypunk
I hear the next Bond is going to be a women. Remember the last Ghostbusters? They told people they were racists and misogynist for not seeing it. No one went because it sucked. The point is SJW's and the far Left tends to ruin everything... |

By the way, I want to party with Cuba Gooding Jr.
https://www.thedailybeast...omen-of-sexual-misconduct
The papers allege that at Cafe Havana in Malibu, California, in 2016 he told a woman and her friend: “You guys are peeing on me tonight,” and that in December 2018, at the same bar, he told the same woman: “You’re going to sit on my face, pee in my mouth, and pee all over me.”
Forget about Babcock - this guy is never working again. |

I did a quick dig because Marvel movies tend to follow the canon of the comics. Turns out Jane Foster (fictional character) was written as Thor back in 1978. - TheMussel
Yes well with the amount of resets and parallel universe story Marvel has made over the years, wouldn't be surprised if Thor was once a dwarf porn star. |

So where is this supposed inequality we are made to feel bad about? In 1989 a lunatic killed people and we should feel guilty now? Peters used the n-word 10 years ago in another league referring to music, and now we should feel bad?
If there is a crime, arrest someone. If someone is an idiot, fire them for JUST cause. Don't tell Canadians they are bad because of a few bad apples. We are tired of it... - Hockey_Reverend
He killed 14 women and let all the men go....He killed them because they were women.
The fact is many people would agree with him on the fact that women shouldn't be engineers. The difference is a psychopath might take it a little further, which he did.
We absolutely need to talk about it. We need to drill it into peoples heads that its (frank)ed up to think a woman can't be an engineer. |

all the gains are from tavares. the rest of it is a wash for, for the same money.
not sure how johnsson replaces jvr. he was internal. more like jvr ---> mikheyhev.
he acquired barrie and muzzin; but wont' have the cap space to keep both.
also, nylander is not 6.9 x 6. he was 1 x 10.2 + 5 x 6.9.
but i guess all those improvements are the reason the team is doing so well. |

I'll start by saying that a lot of people feel the way you do on the periphery of the events that are unfolding. There's a certain uneasiness to what's happening and a certain uneasiness to holding people accountable for their actions in the past by the standards to today.
Where it needs further consideration is this: People are being called out for the actions that were not acceptable 10 or 15 or 20 years ago - but no one ever did anything about it then. How they have conducted themselves and accorded change in the time since those transgressions is important.
In other words - if you're still a racist bumhole 15 years later because no one ever stopped you from being one, it's no longer an excuse.
But if someone like Peters had realized he was being a racist bumhole, and apologized for it, and went about changing his ways and not doing it anymore things would be different. When other people being interviewed about him in private consultation said, 'He's not like that anymore', then the Flames wouldn't have fired him. In fact the Hurricanes probably wouldn't have walked away from him in the first place.
Instead here we are. And instead some are blaming social progress and proper comeuppance on a movement that targets bumholes for being bumholes.
The moral of the story has always been: Don't be an bumhole. |

It has nothing to do with that... there is nothing wrong with female heroines. Aliens had a great female heroine, same with the original Terminator. But they were real characters. Now they just insert hollow female characters in because they are female. The agenda is obvious. Catherine Kennedy who is one of the producers of the new Star Wars has basically admitted this...
Just look at what they did with the latest Terminator movie. It bombed because they did this. People are tired of it. They killed John Connor and inserted a 5 ft tall mexican girl. They basically just erase the past and insert the agenda.
Apparently the new Thor will be Jane Foster. She is 5 feet tall and weighs 100 pounds. - Hockey_Reverend
So lemme get this straight:
You are upset because of hollow characters in the 9th Star Wars movie?
Really?
And furthermore, the last Terminator movie sucked because the writing was terrible - all of it. The worst character in the entire movie was a male cyborg, who were are supposed to believe was programmed to be a relentless killing machine, but developed morals? W the ever-loving F?
Seriously, buddy - you're just looking to hate something because it is female. |

Agree, the same applies to racism. Obviously racism is unacceptable, but standing by, doing nothing when you see it is also unacceptable.

you're (frank)ing nuts.
the fact that people are (religious) fanatics and act upon those delirious beliefs doesn't mean other people think the same way.
In Western Europe, virtually nobody thinks women cannot be engineers - and I would assume that most in Canada think similarly. |

The wider reason for it, as espoused in his suicide note, was that he believed that feminists were ruining the world for men. |
