Their cap is a complete mess given they are rebuilding and only signed Boeser for 3 years and Petterson is up.

But Leafs are in cap hell with everyone signed...

People like to nitpick Dubas's decisions.

Meanwhile Lou signed Z and Marleau to horrible deals.

He didn't give Marner performance bonuses even though players of his caliber always get them...like Babcock he refused to change and adapt his ways for the better of the team.

While Dubas added Muzzin for two years at the TDL Lou traded two 2nd round picks for 4th line players that played 20 games each for the team.

He traded a PPG player in Kessel and somehow had to retain 1.2 million for 6 years.

I am not saying Lou is a bad GM, he is a good GM. But Dubas has done a pretty excellent job here. Nitpicking a few mistakes is silly.
