I used to log in to read every day and now I almost never do because the good analysis with player charts has disappeared and now it’s all just the same thing about the goalies every single time, without ever considering that at least some percentage of the above average goaltending is based on a good fast two way team ... and that maybe....MAYBE sitting Hayton or playing Kessel less has also contributed to the higher save percentage, because solid fast system players keep the puck out, and then opportunistic offensive players cash in.

What I meant was, you seem to have an attachment to certain stats. Those stats are supposed to predict results, but when in a sample size of 100+ games they are not doing that, you don't seem open to the idea that the stats could have a hole. Attachment to a specific concept and not being open to revision in the face of contrary evidence. It's thinking emotionally, not scientifically.
