What do all these teams have in common?

"Serious chance at the Stanley Cup" and "Toronto Maple Leafs" do not belong in the same sentence. It's grammatically incorrect.

My source has him going back to buffalo for Ristolainen, Okposko and a first rounder. Hasek is still undecided if he wants to come back along with him.

The Leafs don't even have cap space for a 6 pack of Miller, let alone goalie Miller.

Montreal and Toronto in on every player? For some reason nobody wants to play for the Habs and Toronto has to water down the gatorade to stay under the cap.

With Miller having a 6 team trade list and almost double the salary of Hutchinson, the only way I see Dubas entertaining this is if either ANA eats Miller's entire salary or there are other players going both ways. Either way, Miller's stats don't look like a big upgrade. I'd see McIlleny as more likely.

Pageau scores all his points against the Habs. It'll ruin his career if he comes here.

If Sakic was smart, he would trade for Ryan Miller, as Francouz is not going to get it done if he is needed for more than a game or two.

5 teams that I strongly believe would give a 1st for Pageau

1. Buffalo Sabres: only team worse on the PK are the Red Wings (ouch)

2. Winnipeg Jets: not much better with only 4 teams with a worse PK. Jets have a history of trading for pending UFA centers at the deadline

3. Toronto Maple Leafs: 6 teams with a worse PK; 5 with more GA. His past teammates in Spezza and Ceci would praise him all day to Dubas

4. Montreal Canadiens: 28th PK, 28th GAA, and a hab killer in the past, they know what this french Canadian two-way center would bring. Easily could help push them over the edge of getting into the playoffs, possibly a big playoff upset

5. Tampa Bay Lighting: They could use the two-way fire BIG time right now. They seem to have forgotten what team defense looks like. But a big tie in could be Benoit Groulx; who is the current head coach of the farm team in upstate new york. He knows Pageau very well, having coached the start for Gatineau in the Q.

A crappy hockey organization that managed to win 4 cups since the league expanded from 6 teams... which seems kind of beyond what your "outstanding" organization has done. Just saying. Nothing against you personally.

Good day, sir.

NJD should Sign and Keep Tayr Hall. The return so far according to the rumors is not good.
Hall flourished in NJ ....

I was beginning to think I was the only one who thinks they should try to keep him. But if he acts aloof about an extension, you gotta move him for what little you can. Look at the Tavares fiasco. Sad, sad stuff.
