The general gist is that Reinhart is one of "those guys".

Would never have pegged him as a druggie, then again, who knows with that stuff.

I've heard from a few people who claim to be "in the know", but it's all second hand info or further as far as I am concerned.

What if it's for Bogo?
- kingcong39

It still is a zero sum move.

Galchenyuk is good on the PP, which could help, but he would probably be on unit 2.

I mean, he's a more natural center than Johansson, and could push him to wing.

But a Skinner/Galchenyuk/Johansson line is just begging for 100% o-zone starts

From Die by the Blade:

"The Penguins need a defenseman to improve their blue line and the Sabres are up to their ears in defenders. The two names that we’ve heard recently mentioned as being available for the Sabres are Marco Scandella and Colin Miller. Scandella is playing well but will be an unrestricted free agent in the summer. Miller has been in the press box more often than on the ice over the last few weeks. The Sabres acquired the puck-moving defender in the summer, but it has been an odd situation for close to a month now.

Both teams don’t have a lot of cap space. According to Cap Friendly, the Sabres have roughly $2.5 million in space with their LTIR reserve. The Penguins have a little over $1.6 million in cap room. A deal of Galchenyuk ($4.9 million cap hit) for Miller ($3.875 million cap hit) or Scandella ($4 million cap hit) makes sense on the surface. In terms of the team needs and working within the cap situation of both clubs."

Bogo's not mentioned at all, but his cap hit would fit in there as well.

Quote not working..Re Skunk being one of those guys...

Galy, Skunk and Bogo... you would think those boys would be "ready to go" every game. Maybe they need to do more during the game and less at night afterwords.

If its for Scandella or Bogo and a late pick then id be okay with it.

You'd have to move one of girgs or larsson then in another deal, youd have too many forawrds at that point.

I'd rather move McCabe and see if Scandella would re-up for 2 years

I mean, sure. Why not?

Problem is it doesn't really improve us. It's just a move to make a move.

Hearing Sabres are in on Galchenyuk. Could be done before the freeze.

He and Jokiharju can be a second pair on a good team with how they’ve played

Have a 3rd pair of Pilut/Miller

Montour/Dahlin and for god sakes move Ristolainen for a forward

Bob shoots 90% from the floor. He had both Subban deals, Raiders cutting AB then AB to the raiders. Had Panarin to Rangers while he was deciding between NYR and NYI (Bob is a diehard Isles fan).

He had OBJ wanting out of Cleveland last week and now there are reports this week of him waiting out in the offseason.

Had the Golden Tate 4 game suspension three days before it was announced.

Could be a wake up call for a few guys. Move a D and let the rest of them know they're not safe, save for Dahlin & Joker. Bring in a new forward and put Vesey and Sheary on notice. Galchenyuk could make both of them expendable imo, especially if he gets slotted on the 2nd PP unit and produces.

Without "going there", as far as Reinhart is concerned, I should add that I couldn't care less whether it's true or not. If that Athletic article is true, every team has this problem to some extent.
