Long is the memory of Colonel Gum-Tie, as he was sent on a raft adrift for the mainland, likely somewhere in the vicinity of the American southwest. I don't think anyone around here really cares, and spirits around the camp have been overall more optimistic since his departure. There are a few crazed individuals who seem to be vomiting every time their mouths open. Ranting and raving about the team's high end players, demanding more blood from the stone. I told them not to eat those berries, but they insisted. Some go back for more on a daily basis, as the rest of us stare in bewilderment.

The search for a 2C... woefully continues. The forest savages who simply couldn't let Him go have mostly huddled in their caves for months now. Every so often, one makes it to camp, and we shoo it away with our torches and slings. The God of Hockey is a false god, and more and more people seem to realize this daily as the hangover from the Almighty Cup fades from memory. However, the talents the So Called God brought to this team were some of the same talents we continue to search for, to this day. Commander Botterill has failed to appease his soldiers and all of the rest of us, who depend on him to lead us off this god awful island. He has failed to reinforce his troops and simply "hopes" that some of the younger troops will self-train themselves for war. Such is not the case with all soldiers.

The days go by in mediocrity, and we sit around the fire and talk about what could have been, what should be and which elite players are the reason the team is failing.
