Speaking of Radulov, the Pens should seriously avoid trading for any aging players with NTC/NMC. - madmike71
So $6.25M until he’s 36 with a NTC? |

He's got a full NMC according to cap friendly. We've already got 4 forwards with clauses. I forget....how many forwards can we protect? Was it 7? |

Absolutely great point that includes Radulav. It's going to stink putting Hornqvist on the list if he's still here. |

He’s been given less minutes and his 5v5 on ice shooting percentage is down. Once that jumps back up he’s on a 60 point pace easy.
Also let’s not pretend 6.25m for a 45 point guy is the worst thing in the world. - Feds91Stammer
Isn't his on ice shooting percent (10%) the same as it's been his whole career ? His individual shooting percentage is down 2% which based off his shot volume so far, would add 5 goals over the course of the season. |

Yeah I remember Sid and Neal still putting up points. Kinda like the Sid and Phil don't click take. When they were together the produced. Except for the MJ era. - Thorny87

I would have loved to see Downie play under Bylsma. Last pens coach that wasn’t a complete puss |

Yeah, have to assume they go 7-3-1. I forgot Tanev has one. So 3 spots for Guentzel, Kahun, McCann, Rust and that's if they don't add anyone else worth protecting as it stands. And everyone is just worried about the goalies. |

It's also another reason we have to move on from Schultz. He's going to want one and we'll need to protect Letang, Dumo and Marino....presumably. It's too early to discuss the goalies, but not too early to consider this factor in trades and signings. |

Go to NST and look at 5v5 on ice shooting. His teams shooting percent. |

This style totally reminds me of 15/16. They are swarming everywhere and keeping them to the perimeter. |

That’s why Sully had zero fighting majors and less points than Bylsma in his career. Sullys a puss. “Just play kids” |

Anyone with 2 years of pro experience or less is exempt, so Marino and any note worthy prospects are good. Nice advantage. So they can sign and protect someone new, or just protect Pettersson. |

I looked it up, Sully had a slight edge in points but never dropped the gloves as a poopty player playing in a fighting era. Puss puss. No wonder Phil Kessel laughed at him in practice. |

I liked Downie. Dude was fairly talented with a big chip on his shoulder. Always in the mix. |

Who cares, he's the leader as a coach in cups won with 2. Unfortunately we'll never know if Badger would've won it back to back. |

Bylsma listed at 6’2 215 on hockeyDB. Never knew he was that big. Certainly doesn’t look it |
