So Hawks play tonight...
Will the board continue to spiral into darkness with another Hawks loss???
OR
Will the board become a place of hope and optimism with a Hawks win against a formidable opponent in the Golden Knights???
Stay tuned...in 12 hours we will find out..... - Savetheembers33

There is no place for racism, verbal abuse or physical abuse anywhere in the world. The only problem I have is that nobody can do anything anymore without a huge deal being made of it. People have become way too over-sensitive on nearly every issue. The mandate has become run and tell without ever trying to work something out first. When I have a problem, I try to address it with the source of the problem first, I don't run directly to my boss first claiming that I was treated unfairly. Believe me; racism, verbal and physical abuse are totally different; but throwing fits on every little thing that happens to a said person has grown very tiresome for me. |

Here's something we can do when things get slow on this site, maybe around the Christmas break or when the Hawks have the week off in January.
We should all put together the ex-Black Hawk team. Need a roster of 13F, 7D and 2G. They must be all current players and need to conform to the 81.5M cap. - boilermaker100
Cool, I'm sure Esposito only made $300K a season. |

The Dallas news? If so, what does that have to do with Crawford? |

Another example of coaching misconduct and coaches being in the news for being unprofessional. |

Not a good month for the NHL PR-wise...time for them to hire McD to focus on that aspect of their admin.
(even though I think he sucks in a crisis situation) |

I thought JC liked Kampf how can he do that to him? Our 4L is better than 3L.

So this is where we are now? Pining over former Blackhawks?
Panarin was always great, at best the Hawks would have kept him for 2 seasons then he’s gone. If that trade wasn’t made Chicago wouldn’t have Saad or Panarin this year (and they still would have missed the playoffs the previous 2 years).
Teravainen and Danault... ya, those were guys who could have stayed an been long term contributors. Not good moves by Stan.
Duclair? He was terrible in Chicago and Columbus afterwards, not to mention Arizona before that. I wouldn’t bet money on him playing consistently like this all season long.
Hinostroza... I like the guy, but 10 points in 32 games doesn’t classify as playing extremely well.
Oesterle - ok, but nothing special
Kempny has been good in Washington, but he never fit in Chicago
Schmaltz has done well but so has Strome. That deal was good for both clubs and players, I’d do it again in a heartbeat.
Jokiharju... not a fan of that trade but it’s still early, I’m not willing to pass judgement just yet.
Kahun - of all Stan’s moves this summer this is the only one I don’t like. Kahun is making the most of his opportunities now, good for him.
Leddy - the Hawks have their own version of him in Gustafsson.
Who’s next? Anisimov? Rutta? Hayden? Hartman? Panik? Perlini? Jurco? Motte? - DarthKane
Panarin was dealt because of the playoff performance, where people thought he disappeared.
TT, Hinostroza, Kempny, and Danault because of Q
Schmaltz while dealt after Q was fired, is still a result of Q, because of the way he handled him.
Joki, was dealt because he didn’t listen to JC and fell out of favor.
Kahun was a victim to improve Defense.
Leddy was a victim of cap and his salary but also had a tumultuous relationship wit Q.
Oesterle not sure on.
DuClair never showed anything while here.

No. His issues are his bench management...unless you think that Dach, Kubilak, Shaw, Saad should get less ice time than Kampf or Carpenter too |

Gustafson is nowhere close to Leddy. Leddy is a solid 2D and Gustafson should never sniff NHL, just like Runblad.
To the list of former Hawks players above, I would add Anti Raanta (given almost for free), Anders Nielsen (sent for free), TVR (not attempt to keep him when Vegas came along).
Stan should have shipped Sharp and Seabrook while still possible while retaining the young core - Leddy and Saad. Keeping Sharp extra year for 6 miln instead of giving Nick something like 5 mln.
Then we might have had both Saad and Panarin and Leddy instead of Seabrook.

Raanta left because he rooted for the other team when he was beaten out by Darling. He was dead in the locker room. Sharp's last year was '15. No '15 Cup without Sharp.
