Sikura is showing nothing for all the whining to have him in the lineup. He needs to go. Career AHLer. - gifman

Captain gave up that one - Patches was his guy and he let him get inside and shoot. |

I'll say it again. The Kane line is playing crap hockey. Not enough skating, and too many weak passes through eight legs/sticks. I can't stand that line. - Chunk
It's not bringing out the best of any of them, with possible exception of Strome. Yet, it's talked about in Hawks media as the holy grail of lines. I DO NOT GET IT. Kane looks ready to cut someone. |

On a side note, Boeser has had 3 breakaways against the Leafs tonight and no goals. He's pulling a Saad. |

He should be dominating in his 5 shifts. If showing nothing is the criteria, then why are Carpenter and Smith in the line up?
Strome has been invisible since he came back. |

Strome? Honestly had to check and see if he has been in the line-up the last 3 or 4 games. |

I’m not worried, when I was in HS I use to irritate the clique girls all the time, not much different here. Truth is the best weapon. |

Article on Saad's inability to put the puck in the net and what he's doing about it. Couple years too late, but what can you do? |

My point is that no one guy in Rockford is the answer. We shouldn't expect that Sikura would immediately turn things around. I'm in favour of keeping Sikura for a while and giving him a legit shot. |

My point is bring more of them up. Get rid of Maatta, Gus, Smith, Carpenter and anyone else who gives you picks in the first 3 rounds.
Schmaltz > Strome
Dach should have been left in juniors. |

Agree there Darth,Bottom line is this team is horsepoop and until Rocky gets a set of balls and fires Stan Bowman and Jeremy Colliton it’ll be the same bullpoop, I bet they will lose at least 5000 season-ticket holder’s,Empty seats are not in their plan I don’t buy that rebuild crap one bit.Colliton has lost his team. And Gus is skating around like he gives two (frank)s. |

At this point anyone not named Patrick Kane should be considered as a possible move.
Disagree on Schmaltz and Strome.
Earlier on in the season I pondered out loud if Dach should be sent back to the W, not because of his abilities but to save him from the circus this season could be. |

Losing season ticket holders will be the only motivator for this club to make serious change. |

Schmaltz is far better defensively than Strome. Also, a poop ton faster. They produce about the same but Schmaltz is better overall.
Especially on a team that needs more speed. |

Agreed......Strome for Schmaltz anybody ? Guaranteed that Arizona would laugh at that proposal. For as much crap that Schmaltz took from just about everybody here about being soft, Strome fits that mold pretty nicely himself. I can't wait to see what SB signs him for in the summer.

At this point, based solely on the look on his face most of the past 10 games, Patrick Kane may be looking for the first ticket out of town.

I doubt Kane ever asks for a trade, this team has been too good to him. Kane will be a Blackhawk for his entire career.

Lots of excuses on Cap related trades - other teams have faced the same.
It’s increasingly difficult to defend Bowman & this lineup
He’s all in on the aging core & the sooner they start rebuilding the better.
I question his feel for the sport
- trades- hiring of Jeremy & the ugly contracts that never made sense.
Bowman is the definition of insanity- do the same & hope for different results
If nothing gives we will all be having this same conversation next year & the year after that!
It’s time to move on. - Colbyboy
Saves a retype
