OMG obviously there were some issues but you don't shut a team out and score 5 without doing some things right.

The Rangers the record was close to the same last year before the wheels fell off.

This is going to play out like the Waterboy. No one thought the Bulldogs had a chance till Bobby showed up at half time to lead them to the Bourbon bowl win.

Kratsov showing up at the half point of the season to win that Calder trophy

He’s better off in the AHL than the VKL or whatever it’s called but he needs to put his big boy pants on and just play his game in the AHL. If he’s playing well his time will come to get the call up, esp if we deal some vets at the deadline(Fast/Kreider).

Going back to the AHL is much better than the Russkie version of the minors. Maybe now he gets his head out of his rear, realizes his future could be in the NHL, and goes to work to earn it instead of whining and running away because he feels entitled due to his perceived talent. He was a beast last season, so what happened this year?

The potential 3 headed goalie merry go round will continue to come up with Hank slowly getting closer to 40 and Georgy playing amazing. Really don't want to trade the kid but with a potential even bigger (and younger) stud blowing up in Hartford I can't see any other way out of this.

I don't want to be a Debbie Downer here but this Kravtsov thing has some sort of addiction related problem written all over it to me. I hope I'm wrong

Really? I hope you’re wrong too!
My only thought has been that it sounds like he might be allergic to hard work. Hope I’m wrong, too. That can be just as bad as drugs to an athlete.

You never know but that sounds like some pretty heavy speculation.

I think he just needs to land somewhere and stick with it. If it's the AHL, just get to work and make your way back to the big club.

You're right this is pure speculation but looking back:
This kid was being compared to Kuznetsov in the KHL last year (funny given this context)
Could have made the NHL roster out of camp (not saying he should have but certainly was better than Haley or Chityl at the time)
For reasons unknown he was sent down where he was benched and then scratched
Went back to the KHL where he was limited to 1 shift over the last two games before being sent "to the moon" to play.

None of this reads talent or confidence to me. This rapid of a decline and being written off at every level says that something is going on

It definitely makes sense. I really hope not.

I think he simply didn't make the team based on not fitting the mold of playing on the 4th line. I kind of thought he should have broken camp with the team but that is the past, that horse is dead.

You would think that they would be pushing him into a program if that was the case though. They don't always disclose what the issue is but he would be on leave or whatever.

Old song with Georgiev situation, we develop a surprise at goal ..BUT
as per usual averages usually win out ,assume he will play but not be Shesty(pedigree)Must assume Georgie is traded the latest is T D
You cant stop Shesty's growth , he wont tolerate staying in Conn.
Figure like Raanta , Talbot you get the most out of situation at the time , maybe the biggest question is WHEN you trade the goalie , not for what ,it will be determined by supply & demand or out waiting yourself , we probably waitied too long on Talbot but still got a decent return, Raanta? # 7 * A dA for Step & Anti who was expected to start now Kumpfer ? strange how it all settles to him a back up again due to health
Any way the big Question is WHEN do you pull the trigger on grade A talent coming back in trades for ....
Greogiev ,A DA ...... definitely will be traded due to status

Krieds -Buchny ... i see 1 of them not both ,depends on return

C B J needs talent : sending them Buchny + Hijak OR top D prospect (Keane , Renaunen ,) = Anderson

gotta give up a liil more to make the upgrades : what are the chances with alll the
prospects that a Keane or Reunanen will make it to NHL with NYR

gotta figure Miller,Lunkqvist,Rykov will get shot first , gotta use the talent not sit on it & cant expect them all to be NYR's

i dont understand your position on NYR team & its plans made and being made to be back in PO's & a top 10 team at minimum for next decade .

you critique the moves BUT with no insight as to what should be done ?

SOme guys want to stock pile prospects and never trade them for fear the come back to haunt you ,others dont like the F A moves ,I would like to hear your platform on .....
