I think he needs to come at a discount and he can keep his A. Zib is the new captain.

I'm leaning towards a Trouba captaincy myself

I actually did say that above, I mean, signing Georgiev long term and trading Shesty shouldn't really be completely dismissed
- jimbro83

I don't want them to trade Georgie- he makes it look so easy. Yeah he doesn't have the pedigree but neither did Hank. He really looks like he can be special.

I would be OK with that too. Right age and term, good idea as well.

Why do you think the points are down this year...we talked about this, all about the lower cap hit

Shesty's and Hank's pedigree are actually quite similar as far as the level Hank was at when he got here initially

in my mind, I have no doubt Shesty is going to be a star goaltender, he's literally been a star every where he plays

Do you tell your wife all the new words you learn?

She must think you talk to the most deranged people on the net.

You’d be surprised how often I’ve had to qualify my statements to her with “the guy from New York”.

Yea I can't support a captain nomination for someone who rocks the frosted color long locks...cut the hair first

I think he is having issues with decision making on the smaller ice. Makes him appear slow. He also falls a lot, noticeably so. I think he will be fine.

I think he could use some better conditioning, next summer work with a trainer and all that

it makes sense that he looks slow at times, he's never played this many games ever

Buchnevich & Georgiev for Nylander. ✅

Saves Toronto about 3million in cap space.

- adwolf130

There’s not much from TOR I would want in a deal for Georgie. The only things that would interest me is something like you proposed or a deal involving a 1st.

Yup. Pretty much was I was going to say. He gets real slow at the end of the shift. That can be fixed pretty easy

I have not been to those two countries but they are on the list.

We did Italy, Switzerland, France and Great Britain during our Europe trip.
