I've seen red and grey foxes around here, beautiful animals. When my daughter was small, There was a sound like a baby being murdered outside her window. Grabbed a shotgun and ran outside with the flashlight and saw eyes across the road, but couldn't see what animal. Heard the same sound 10 minutes later, went to the interwebs and found out it was a baby fox. Still hear it every few years and creeps me out at first.

Thats weird. I've been here for 10 years and only saw 1 at about 1 in the morning. See the tracks at the beach all the time and when it snows. Very elusive
