Is that directed at the NFL referees from yesterday's game?

A lot of people hate him.

He doesn't have a job anymore.

Do the (frank)ing math.

This just in...

... some Pro-athletes hate their head coach.

More to come.

How Wedgie knew it i'm not gonna ask.

- bobbyisno1

Wedgie didn't know.

In fact, Wedgie kinda finds "soy-boy" funny.

I was referring to the earlier remark, which was most definitely homophobic.

He's probably got one more job in him, if it doesn't work, he's probably done for life. What I think will be really interesting is Hockey Canada's picks.
- AdamFrench

I really don't know if he will have another job.

He is a stubborn mule who doesn't change in a new NHL that is changing quickly...I really don't know if a team takes a shot at him.

Max must have received a timeout for the "sucking rooster" comment,

Max you there?

- Garnie

It's not at all a homophobic comment - would have thought better of wedgie to be honest.

Not really, it's an interview piece. The writer doesn't have to try to debunk McCarthy's opinion.
- Zezel

In McCarty's defence, he was wacked out on drugs and booze and losing money hand over fist to gambling, so his memory may not be 100 per cent perfect.

Escrow will be a huge issue imo.
- Fakepartofme

Somebody needs to explain to players that escrow is a good thing for them.

The alternative is to keep the cap lower.

I'd rather pay into escrow and hope that the revenues come through, than have the cap set lower and not get that extra bit of money in my next contract.

I don't know if he wants one. With Peters and crawford taking the limelight i can see him thinking he kind of got away with very little trouble.

Yes.

He lost the team here.

Who cares what players from +10 years ago think. He was hired despite his reputation.

When robidas and lupul got the schaft, everbody cheered.

But when over the hill scrubs like commodore and mccarty speakup, they are proof the right decision was made!

Peters and Crawford are apples to Babcock's orange.

Peters and Crawford did things that are fireable offences.

Babcock was a miserable SOB to his players. You may disagree with his methods, but he didn't do anything "wrong."

You do remember the Oilers brought Hitch in as a last ditch effort? Babcock will get the same thing...unless he takes his 30mil to retirement and laughs...

That we know of.

I agree he didnt to date. I can just see him saying "why even be questioned? Take my money and retire."

On the flip side, I still don't think he gets a job for at least a year.

fighting majors during the reg season never correlates to winning the cup.
Just looking at the last several cup winners. this is where they ranked in FM

The interesting thing is Shanahan played for him in Detroit for a year.

So he had to know what he was getting.
