He’s supposed to throw knuckles, not chins.
- Garnie
Thought the ref was pretty lenient on him. He should have got at least 6 more minutes in penalties. Two for getting slashed , two for getting crosschecked on the face and two more for doing a lousy job of wrestling as he was being punched in the face for having the audacity to be winning

Then sweet.
If it really jumped that much star players would be getting 15 million.
We will have some bargains at 11 - Santo_44
IF they put up the #’s still, and if we don’t have some internal pieces coming up replacing them.
No sense worrying about IF or BUTS |

it's hilarious that you live in a world where you think your GM isn't incompetent at signing contracts with young players. - haywoodjablome
So if Laine let's say is at least PPG the next 2 years and wants 6-8 years, what will his cap hit be genius?

We should have received a PP out of it but anyways...refs were feeling bad for STL I think. |

see....how can you guys see poop like this and not call this clown out for it. - haywoodjablome
Yeah, no other fan has ever predicted their team would be in the finals or win the cup. It has especially never happened when many other people associated with hockey had the Leafs top-3 this year in terms of cup odds.
Yeah, they have had a disaster of a season so far, compared to what was expected. There is still a ways to go however.

Expansion fees do not go into salary cap calculation.
So unless you think that Seattle is going to be wildly successful, that's really pushing it. - Atomic Wedgie
I never said expansion fees do. But all that gate revenue does. All 41 games will be sold-out.
Vegas saw the cap go up the most it has in years. |

Signed Kapanen and Johnsson to good deals.. Plus, I like the Kerfoot contract and the Mikheyev signing. Did pretty well getting Spezza for only $700k too. |

Correct on the fees. Seattle will be wildly successful, perhaps more successful financially than Vegas. Incredibly rich city, growning like crazy and Vancouver a short distance away.

Nothing specific to your posts.. Just your entire act is nothing new, it's been said before a lot.. Even by a lot of Leaf fans..
I think it's a good idea, to take some time off, come up with new material and try again..
You can do this bud, I have faith in you.. Don't disappoint me.. - PatC80
so wait, let me get this straight, I'm saying the same stuff as a lot of leaf fans, but I'm a troll?

Leaf fans hear every year they are doomed and everyone is leaving. People need new schtick.
This time last year it was Matthews is signing for 15+ per in Arizona for an offersheet and Marner 13+ per in an offersheet. |

I hate to get in the middle of a good cat fight, but I should probably point out that Laine is not as good as Matthews.
And now back to the fight... |

Not sure how the last one is relevant - as a rival? |

the cap went up 2 mil the year vegas entered the league....the following year it went up by 4.........but somehow Seattle coming in (which we all know won't have the same financial success right away) is going to jack the cap up by 15 million.
sure thing buddy |

Creates an actual rival for the Canucks.
Maybe they can stop obsessing over us and trying to mooch of the battle of Alberta. |

Anyways, we’ll be fine...not sure we’ll do
Much damage in the PO’s...but that’s looking at it today and not in 2 months from now.

You've read the wrong years genius. The year AFTER Vegas came in is when the revenues count to the cap.
The cap amount that gets annnounced every summer is based on the PREVIOUS years' revenues. |
