Nice late high hit on Nylander like 8 seconds after he had the puck.

Cool.

Champs.

Whatever that means.

Kids going to score.

The average age of the Rocket Richard trophy is 24 years old.

Selke? 28.

Bergeron was not good defensively early on in his career.

It's not a young man's game.

And imo it is that way because young players must prioritize getting points rather than being defensively sound...

Maybe put Hutch in to give Freddy rest of game off.

Hopefully Spezza doesn’t drink and drive. Don’t want to end up like Heatley in that way.

Natural goal scorers are going to... wait for it... score goals.

The defensive side of the game comes later, with experience, with hard lessons.

There's no shortcut to that.

I’m all for giving him a rest, but I don’t want to loose this one.

The Leafs have played a near perfect road game against the Stanley Cup champs and all Hughsuck and Simpleton can do is point out flaws in the Leafs game. They cannot bring themselves to even mention at how well they've played tonight.

"and they're 16 points behind the Bruins..."

"all teams got a point tonight."

They have played well.

But I agree with their point that Anderson kept them in the game early. If Hutch started this game, we are likely down 2 or 3 goals early.

Well, it is what happened in the league tonight. It's just the reality of the situation.

Great game and effort tonight overall and a HUGE two points we had to have. That said Dubas you got 12 days now to get the backup sorted out we cannot wait till after the Xmas break to get that taken care of. We need those points! Get on it already!

Not one compliment. Zero. Lead almost the entire game, PK was perfect, chased their starter out of the net in a tough building... nope. Pure hate train.

But Freddie's a good goalie. Good teams have good goalies. I do not consider this a game that Freddie stole at all.

Yes, he was solid, made some good saves early, but it wasn't like we were hanging on, getting shelled, ice tilted, score effects... the shots were low and even all game.
