I’d be shocked if he signed there due to the last couple of teams he has played with. He’s most likely looking for consistency and I don’t see the stability being there yet in players minds.

Looking through CapFriendly...I honestly can't figure out who the hell is gonna sign him. Willing to bet there's a surprise team that comes out of the blue or something that ends up landing him. Gotta think Colorado will be in the mix. They have a ton of cap space and MacKinnon is on record saying he'll take less money on his next deal to try and keep a championship-caliber team together.

Colorado is definitely a place I can see him getting traded to and signing with after. They’re rumored to be going after Hall. I think the only question would be if Sakic would be willing to give up what it would take. MacKinnon is an absolute stud.

Yeah but it sounds like they've cooled off on trading for Hall. I doubt they're willing to trade Byram, even with Makar emerging as a complete star as a rookie. Not sure they'd traded Girard off the roster either and I'm sure NJ is going to want one of them. Maybe they can craft a package around Timmins, a 1st, and something else but I'm not sure that one moves the needle for Shero.

I think it’s a weird deal on Chayka’s part. I don’t see them as being a Taylor Hall away from being a true contender. I know they’ve been in the mix from the get go but think it’s a waste unless they really think/know they can lock him up to a contract.

Bahl from what little I know/read is a good defensive defenseman and the other dudes are meh but it’s still a lot for a most likely rental. Coyotes aren’t winning the cup with Hall.
