There are always people who are going to never change their mind, those are the ones that are already pretty educated on whatever subject it is. Sadly most of the world doesn't even know about these issues. I think raising awareness on a subject is pretty vital. Up until a few years ago half of north america didn't even know what climate change was.....

The way I see it is that the west has been polluting the world for a century. But now that developing countries have their shot at prosperity we expect them to call a halt to it in the name of climate change.

who gives a (frank) if everyone else reduces their emissions and china is excluded. either is a global problem and everyone fixes it, or it's not and nothing gets done.
