I guess mechanical engineers can't be scientists, even when they work on science projects for the Mars rover?

Interesting.

Exactly. Stick to what you know. I'll just leave this right here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VtJFb_P2j48

I could walk to the four corners of the flat earth, and I wouldn't find a single person who can convince me otherwise.

I like that the Leafs are trying to maintain control of the puck...even during line changes etc....what is hurting them ( and Babs is laughing at home ) is when they try and maintain it while in trouble or when we’re in our own zone and 5 guys trying to pass it around standing still...makes it way too easy for the other team. JMO for today.

Go leafs go, should be able to beat STL...I think they’ve got some guys out.

Greta is being used. She knows nothing about the 'science' she purports to. If you don't believe me watch her rehearsed speech at the UN in September, and then watch the press conference after. Had no idea what to say.

Her mother wrote in her book that Greta suffers from multiple mental problems, including aspergers as well as anorexia. Yet her mother and father, who are both members of Antifa - a communist group - are trotting her around the world for money. It's actually pretty sick.

Both her parents are actors. Her dad has done some production. This is likely why her speeches are so well choreographed but she is unable to answer simple questions. Her mother has acted in soft porn opera. Yes you read that right. As well as occult theatre.

If these people gave any poops about their daughter they would be taking care of her at home.

yup👍🏿

this is all about $$$

personally, i would take my special needs daughter on a 1 week, all expenses paid, cruise from sweden to nyc to be wined and dined so she could be trot out in front of the international media and put on a show.

that’s how pt barnum made his fortune as well as most politicians 👍

who could blame them?

Deep down though, I would have some sort of knowledge of astronomy and physics and how the planets heat and cool over the millions of years depending upon the relatively minute distances from the sun that they are and lmfaooooooooo about these lemmings and political hacks paying me for contributing to this hysteria 🤣

Only the Bruins are above .500 in their past 10 games in the Atlantic.

The Leafs are right there with the rest of them in the Atlantic.

The whole Atlantic division doesn't try obviously.

NASA scientists who disagree with man-made global warming:

Even the term ‘global warming’ does not mean anything unless you give it a time scale. The temperature of the earth has been going up and down for millions of years, if there are extremes, it’s nothing to do with carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, it’s not permanent and it’s not caused by us. Global warming is nonsense.”

-Dr. Leslie Woodcock, emeritus professor at the University of Manchester (UK) School of Chemical Engineering and Analytical Science, former NASA scientist

50 NASA scientists write letter:

March 28, 2012
The Honorable Charles Bolden, Jr.
NASA Administrator
NASA Headquarters
Washington, D.C. 20546-0001

Dear Charlie,
We, the undersigned, respectfully request that NASA and the Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS) refrain from including unproven remarks in public releases and websites. We believe the claims by NASA and GISS, that man-made carbon dioxide is having a catastrophic impact on global climate change are not substantiated, especially when considering thousands of years of empirical data. With hundreds of well-known climate scientists and tens of thousands of other scientists publicly declaring their disbelief in the catastrophic forecasts, coming particularly from the GISS leadership, it is clear that the science is NOT settled.
The unbridled advocacy of CO2 being the major cause of climate change is unbecoming of NASA’s history of making an objective assessment of all available scientific data prior to making decisions or public statements.

As former NASA employees, we feel that NASA’s advocacy of an extreme position, prior to a thorough study of the possible overwhelming impact of natural climate drivers is inappropriate. We request that NASA refrain from including unproven and unsupported remarks in its future releases and websites on this subject. At risk is damage to the exemplary reputation of NASA, NASA’s current or former scientists and employees, and even the reputation of science itself.
For additional information regarding the science behind our concern, we recommend that you contact Harrison Schmitt or Walter Cunningham, or others they can recommend to you.
Thank you for considering this request.
Sincerely,
(Attached signatures)
CC: Mr. John Grunsfeld, Associate Administrator for Science
CC: Ass Mr. Chris Scolese, Director, Goddard Space Flight Center
Ref: Letter to NASA Administrator Charles Bolden, dated 3-26-12, regarding a request for NASA to refrain from making unsubstantiated claims that human produced CO2 is having a catastrophic impact on climate change.

It's vital that people turn off the MSM and really look at things objectively. It's fun to be p[art of the collective and acceptance is alluring, but it's always best to do research as an individual, especially when it comes to major issues like this one.

Can we be certain that scientists who rely on government funding are giving us the absolute truth. Any scientist who voices a different opinion is dragged through the mud and labeled a quack, no more grants. Any poster on the Internet who voices an opinion that doesn’t fall in line is attacked also.

Exactly. You're getting a million dollar grant to see how a trace gas impacts the temperature. Even if you found out it doesn't, why would you reveal that and loose all the grant?

Can't be racist of old white people when I am one.

I'm more of a "dumbist"...I hate all dumb people regardless of race, sex, sexual preference, amputee, STD, acronym choice, et al...just happens most of the people in power are old white dumb people.

The way I see it is that the west has been polluting the world for a century. But now that developing countries have their shot at prosperity we expect them to call a halt to it in the name of climate change.
No wonder they hate us.
