When was the last time they won 2 sets of back to backs in one season?

There was no need for a dramatic finish like that hahah..but in their defence they looked pretty gassed that period.

Murray was so close to getting a quality start he could build on, but then that 3rd goal happened.

I thought they looked good until that defensive breakdown where Ruh went sledding and didn't recover. Then another stupid late game penalty by Rust. He needs to cut down on those!

Good game overall on the second night of a back-to-back with travel. Glad to see Machino engaged.

Yeah, hung out to dry on the first two (well, unlucky bounce on the first one) and the last one he looked a little off his angle. A lot of traffic, though, and it might have been tipped a little coming through.

I don't think he could see it very well...or at all.

Won is won, and there is no doubt that Jarry gets the start next game.

Yeah they had a good reason to be gassed. They all looked a step slower to me. Made some winded bad decisions.

How is he as a RW?

I think if we can find Crosby a speedy RW and get a 2nd pairing defenseman, we'll be in good shape.

Would be good to have a right handed shot on the team though seeing that most of the centre’s are also left handed.

But I agree

You don't have much for assets to move for him so good luck with that.

As long as he isn't at center and you minimize the defensive work he needs to do he is fine. Don't expect him to create much for his teammates either.

Considering all the talk about Hall around here I think AA is a conservative ask for my wish list.

He’s an RFA coming off a 30 goal season. He won’t come cheap.

I bet we could get Toffoli for cheap since he is in the doghouse in LA. Maybe Galch straight up.

You’re essentially saying his defensive game is ass and he’s not a playmaker, but the pens don’t have the assets to get him? He is an RFA, but he can easily take a 2 year deal and test free agency OR demand a ton of money because he’s had the one 30 goal season. You’d have to think GMs are going to be a little weary of giving away a high end prospect or a top 15 pick for him. He’s also having a pretty underwhelming year compared to last year. I know the entire red wings team is doing bad, but he’s an NHL worst -33. I don’t think it’ll take more than a late 1st round pick to get him
