I want to give New Jersey a good goalie and some defensive options that are young enough to grow with the team and relatively cost controlled. Eriksson would have to go to make this conversation even start I believe.

I think this is a GREAT trade for Van, with Demko looking like a great future goalie you can dump Depio. Hall, EP, Brock is a scary line.

I have to agree with you....when people propose deals with Carey Price, Hornquist, and JVR as the principal players...yeesh. I included Okposo but the main cogs were Mittelstadt and a 1st. (with a little cookie thrown in for taking Okposo)
