Bruins try to hurt our best player Lehner when they crashed the net ,Smith go after Pastbaby and takes out Moore who look more then ready to fight , way to go Smity . Dach looked good .Strome played very well on 1st game back

Nope,Just good old-fashioned street justice, he got embarrassed and got his ass kicked. A good hard old fashion hockey hit and you have to defend yourself, as much as the I like the Rough poop, I am not a proponent of that crap. That’s why I say take the instigator rule out and quit protecting these guys and when more of them have to answer their own bell ,that game will clean up real fast.Now back to savoring this win tonight. Glad we got to two points I don’t care about Boston getting a point there in the other conference, hopefully we don’t stink up the joint tomorrow night against New Jersey and come home with four points.

Thinking the same thing. Maybe he's recovered from the shoulder and hip injuries or Nagy has woken up.

As for the Hawks.... Good win, but I wouldn't read much into it. Maybe Bruins took things for granted tonight. I think on any given night any lesser team can beat a better team. Just like a couple of weeks ago when the Hawks beat Dallas who was playing 3rd game in 4 nights.

I'll take the win but let's not get our hopes up that this is a playoff caliber team.

Both Koekkoek and Gilbert didn't appear to be intimidated by Boston. I'd give them both another shot at New Jersey.

murphy was had an excellent all around game...
gus is on the pp is always an adventure...

yes the bruins were playing their 3rd game in 4 nights but that didn't stop them from getting 3 in the 3rd and really pushing the play...

overall the hawks played a solid game vs an A1 quality team...

on that pp with 6 minutes left you can not allow a shorty to make it 3-2; play a conservative 4 corner pp; no shots on goal with that pp would have been just fine with me...
