The point is, which you refuse to acknowledge, is that he didn’t have to respond within 10 seconds of the check. He didn’t have to fight, or get the instigator plus the 10.

He could have waited until later in the game. He could have done a number of things to him away from the puck, and the eyes of the refs. They’re playing them in ARI in a few days in the desert. He could have lit him up there.

For god sakes, Stan used to wait months to get his revenge.

Do you think Gilbert's actions will change the actions of ANY Hawk opponent in the future? The Yotes took a run at Cat even though the Hawks have made similar statements several times lately. They weren't scared off.
