So we have a star goaltender on a huge contract and a prime goaltending prospect that should one day take over?

Would be a win if Price didn't make 10.5M$ a year.

People already have high expectations for Primeau...we did for Lindgren too, look how that turned out.

Yes, his contract is big. Wish it would have a lesser impact on the salary cap.

But so far, it had no impact on the team.

We have plenty of cap space left. At no point did we not acquire a player because of cap issues.

And Price's play, despite not being otherwordly like it once was, was pretty damn good for most of last season after a rough 2 months.

Plenty of hockey to be played fellas, Price can still help this team way more than he can hurt it.

Lindgren was mostly seen as a future solid backup or trade bait for another team.

So far, he's failing those expectation.

Thought on impeachment for Donny?
- AGalchenyuk27

I think they got 'em.

But what I don't understand is if he wanted the Biden's investigated, why didn't he just hire someone?

I don't know about that. During those couple of games where he did good two years ago I believe, people got excited and thought he could be a potential starter.

His numbers were always bad in the AHL. Primeau just came in and had some good number right away at 20.

I think we need to be patients and yeah, you never know with a prospect but things are looking good.

They all line up to come here.

Team is scoring goals by the way. Problem has been to keep the puck out of the Habs net.

So Primeau confirmed against Colorado tonight? Not a small task... not that NYR would've been a piece of cake, but still a bit easier imo

Isn't that kinda like saying "we had a pretty damn good marriage last year, except for the 4 months we fought"?

Eastern matchups are more important, Pat. We don't take into account the caliber of the adversary.

It's about the team, not about Primeau.

Habs need to win friday vs a team from the East.
