I prefer to giggle hysterically while sobbing into an adult beverage.
You? - Wildschwein
Sobbing into said beverage then randomly ponder why we didn’t draft Tomasino
|

why not - AlEx_OiL
Because he’d cost way too much and we’re way too far away from contention.
If the Oilers were ready to make a serious run at the Cup, then maybe I’d do it.
But we aren’t, and thus I wouldn’t. |

One day we must sob together. I’ll supply the beverages. |

I’m good with this plan....I might also sob because had a certain draft gone differently then Barzal would be on our second line

If you add Hall and Pageau, you don't think the Oil can become a serious contender to the Cup?

Ah, my boy Tomasino I like checking in where my draft day favourites from each year are and my 2017 list is doing pretty well so far. Jokiharju and Suzuki are NHL regulars and some of my depth picks aren't too shabby either. |

Don’t forget to throw some shade at Snow. There’s a reason I donated $50 to the “Snow Must Go” billboard fund. |

I do, even with the Goalies and Defense they got the Oil would be a contender...mmmm okay maybe add an extra defender not a expensive one....someone like ERIK GUSTAFSSON or JEFF PETRY |

I’m still surprised Jokiharju was traded for what I think was so little |

Klefbom now at -15 on the year (5 or 6 of which are empty netters). - MaximumBone
Got some bad news for ya. Empty net goals don't count for +/-.

And you're the guy claiming others aren't watching hockey enough? I thought you couldn't get any more wrong, but here you are persisting and endeavouring to greater and greater depths. Keep on diving, Spunkulese. |

Seems like the Flames got the decent version of Lucic and the Oilers got the same version of Neal. - Hunkulese
Is this guy for real? The Flames went from first to last and the Oilers went from last to first! A huge factor was this outrageously one sided trade the Flames messed up! It has been regarded as possibly the worst trade in Flames history... some say worse than trading Brett Hull.
James Neal has probably scored more goals this year than Lucic will the rest of his career. The Flames' window has slammed shut, it's rebuild time sorry to say. |

That was a fairly solid statistical breakdown. Informative without being dull.
Now delete it immediately. I don’t want Nurse’s agent using it against Holland in this summers negotiations. |

Thanks
Side note: you've gotta stop offering trades in other threads Broberg in almost any deal, let alone one only bringing back Wood and Gusev, is nuts. |

You leave my fantasies alone.
Oilers need affordable help now. If that means moving a defensive prospect who’s probably 2 years (minimum) away from making the bigs, then I’d do it. |

As outlined in the other thread, we lose way too much value for far too little in return. |

How much cap space will the Oilers have next season, what with expiring contracts and finalized buyouts? |
