Why (frank) with a PP that's over 30% on the year? Once it falls off, then they can make a change like that.

I'd be willing to go as far as Jones, Puljujarvi, 2021 1st (becomes 2022 1st if he doesn't resign) along with some cap (Chiasson). The pick being a 1st no matter what is what would be the main selling point, but I'd need to delay it a touch to be comfortable making such a trade. I imagine other teams could and would offer more, though.

That’s ok then because while the trade itself scares me it’s the contract that scares me off the most.....I think it was you that said we don’t need to spend all of our cap money this coming off season and I agree.....I’m sure there are good players that can be had for less

I’ve no interest in a soon to be 30 year old Hall.

Holy (frank). Wake up Oilers.

Yeah, but that would be a trade I'd be willing to make even without the resigning. I'm talking about pushing the envelope for this year. While there are others I'd prefer (Zucker), I would be willing to make that kind of deal for Hall as he'd secure us two scoring lines for the season. Maximize every playoff appearance.

The answer is the same as its been since the trade and I don't envision it changing so why do you keep asking?

Zucker would be a good addition.....I wouldn’t say no to Staal either actually.....if we are still doing this good come the new year then we absolutely should be buyers for a change.....let’s be real tho I’m sure Hall will be injured by that point anyways

Seems like the Flames got the decent version of Lucic and the Oilers got the same version of Neal.

Better than the black hole they had in that spot last year. Cheaper too!

He's playing with Gaudreau now. Lucic will get at least 3 goals this year.

He couldn’t score playing with McDavid and is one of the rare few that drags him down.....now that’s real talent right there

I've advocated strongly for both, but unless Minny drops off again, they're likely staying put. They've pulled themselves back onto the track for now.

Wait, have you actually watched any Oiler games? You're still happy with Neal?
