Thing is, he's the perfect type of player to bury in a 4th line role for his energy alone. Unfortunately we suck so he gets played probably more then necessary.

Remember Mike Knuble... He wasnt great. But he played on top line with Thornton and Ovi. He did his little job, created space, etc.... And those lines dominated. I cant see why Wood cant do that. Its like he needs to think a little more or something.

He has the worst hands in the league and that’s not an exaggeration. Watching him try to do something other than chip the puck around someone is painful.
