When Victor Mete is indispensable to your D core, you know there's something missing
- Pat1993

How so? Has he not been solid?

The top 4 wasn't the issue. Still isn't. In fact, I'd say #5 may be entrenched now as well. It's the #6 that's the problem.
- hscesq

I'd give Otto Leskinen a shot at this point instead of playing Oloffson 5 minutes a night.

So many questions,

Why is Cousins having same playing times as guys like gallagher and Tatar lol. Ridiculous.

Why is Weber & Chariot playing half a game? Maybe the third duo plays bad but give them more time or get a trade to fixes it. Ridiculous that Olofsson plays 5mins while Weber plays 30.

Pecan and Weal and even Cousins has to be replaced by real 4th liners.

At the end we won, but that won’t last long. Julien just bought time

i would imagine it's a) a shift to a less aggressive/ more defensively responsible game plan and b) a plea to Marc Bergevin for more capable defencemen. although a useless one. if Bergevin didn't address it over the summer he isn't going to do so now.

oh for sure, just saying that it shouldn't be that much trouble playing a few weeks without him... now there's guys playing 30+ min a game, which isn't sustainable

He's gonna overpay for Marco Scandella anytime soon now.

But that's not on Mete. That's on Bergevin, becasue (for DT) he hasn't cured the one sickness that continues to linger...

Agreed 100%. And Olofson might not be the ideal solution after all...

Yesterday she had quite a shock from knowing I had never had a girlfriend, but I think she's slowly recovering.

There's this young guy in Laval who might deserve a call up, name Karl Alzner.

If she was shocked than that's a good thing imo... way better than "oh, judging by your face I'm really not surprised"

BTW, either Wilde or Cowan (they may the same person, and it doesn't really matter) were tweeting during the game yesterday, that perhaps the refs aren't giving the Habs any calls, because of CJ's recent public complaints. I mean, to dominate a game the way they did for two periods, and not have one PP (which extended to the third), is a bit....odd.

Laval is not looking that hot...Vejdemo is the only ''young guy'' whose stat line makes me think ''maybe he could be called up''...

Don't wanna sound like a Leafs fan as well but I've noticed Habs haven't been getting many calls lately.

Yeah the refereeing has been pretty awful lately, didn't notice that it was a one-sided thing though..

And Clode still found a way to throw KK under the bus, even after a win

Yeah but she did use the words ''scared a bit''

Apparently neither my face nor my behavior seem like huge obstacles. I guess.

I did, she tries to understand by asking a bunch of questions
