McGuire says trade talk for Ghostisbehere have intensity. Could be done in the next hours.
Interesting. Offensive defenseman that play PP times which would remove Cousins or Weal

- MONSTERSofMETALZ

So... why is philly trading him?

Look at what Vegas paid for Pacioretty.
- jugkope

Habs never benched Pacioretty like Ghost is right now. Pacioretty had some good seasons over here. Can't remember some bad ones.

Ghost had 37 points last season. He has 6 points so far this year. Not good in his own zone.

He coud bounce back elsewhere. But his value is low right now.

Buying low on him is a good idea. Could bounce back.

Teams are not trading youngs LHDs when they are on fire Pete. They just don't.

so an offensive LHD that struggles in his zone on a bad streak for over a year will come solidify the Habs D, a group that struggles in their zone.

I don't do this often (never).

But I'm gonna side with Cliffy on this one.

If the Habs get him, he will no longer suck. PLUS, his name is French, so that will help.

i think Montreal's defensive struggles this year have been as a five man unit, not based on how their defencemen play in their own zone.

He had 37 points last season. That's far from 65 points, but 37 would still look good on the Habs.

Habs have the cap space. Romanov branle dans le manche et ne vient pas avant septembre 2020, si tout va bien.

Ghost is still young and has potential. Habs would buy low.

You totally miss the point about him bouncing back on another team. It happens a lot in NHL.
