I thought he asked, not demanded. In either case it looks like Lou told him to shove it.

Maybe. Or Lou may have made a genuine effort to trade the guy...........and there was zero interest. The market for 173 lb. space cadets may be rather limited in the NHL.

He was probably unhappy because Crappy was touching him. I'd be afraid the stupidity was contagious.

I updated it

I kinda feel like if there was no interest then Josh would either be playing in the AHL or would've requested to be placed on unconditional waivers to mutually terminate the contract so he could go play overseas. Maybe he did do the latter and Lou didn't grant it, but it seems odd to me that he's just training in Toronto and there hasn't been a single thing mentioned.

As funny and ridiculous as the whole situation is, it doesn't really benefit the Islanders to have him rotting away doing nothing.

Maybe no one was interested so they asked him to report to BP and he refused. He is still listed on the Sound Tigers roster.

Didn’t he say or it was reported that he didn’t want the islanders to draft him?

Maybe, I just don't see why they'd bother keeping him then. In that scenario nobody would want him and he'd be refusing to take part in any Islanders-related hockey activity. Just release him and let everyone move on.

Nobody wants him. If any team wanted him he would be gone already.

I don't think so, but it's entirely possible I'm wrong on that one. I just remember this thread was, more or less, analyzing his facial expressions when his name was called and determined that he was not excited to be an Islander

Varlamov first goalie off from #Isles practice. Could be a change in the rotation tomorrow in Dallas.

Lines and pairings were the same, as would be expected. Varlamov was the first goalie off the ice, but Trotz wouldn't bite when I asked him if he made a decision as to who the No. 1 was or is

Koivula sent down to Bridgeport. Moonknuckle sent to Bridgeport on conditioning stint.

Yeah I saw the Koivula/Sprucechuckle news. Probably best for Otto, he needs to play and sitting in the press box here does him no good.
