I hope you and the people you love never go through mental health issues.
The fact that you mock it, makes you a worthless piece of sh!t.

I do this poop for a living for a rather large company, and without getting involved in your little debate.... I can assure your last couple paragraphs are complete poop.

Employers have a responsibility, there's been legislation passed to support as much.

- joel878

I believe this is pretty obvious for most thinking people...

He was also dealing with depression issues....
Babcock was an abusive (frank)ing bumhole.
You are a worthless pice of sh!t.

But you keep being you.

- .HOHO.

You werent there, you dont know a) he was dealing with depression b) babs knew c)babs purposely made things difficult as a result.
Huge assumptions here

Unless im missing a story, so please share

It kinda is, but let's agree that he's not probably properly equipped to do it, and the NHL could probably do a better job of it.

If there's one thing I've learned in the past year, it's that everyone has to be on the lookout, and everyone needs to speak up if they even think something may be wrong.

- Atomic Wedgie

Yes youve learned this, the past year.

We are talking about a almost a decade ago.

Where he played 13 games, no points, 4 minutes in penalties, and averaged 14:04 per game in ice time - 10th highest amount of ice time per game of any Tampa defenceman.

And for the record, Detroit finished 18 points higher than Tampa that year.

But Babs ruined Commodore.

P.S. Commodore never played another NHL game.

BABS IS A MONSTER!

And that legislation is how old?

Not very.

8 to 10 years ago, mental health was rarely talked about in a sporting environment

Even in spite of my 'not getting involved in this stance'... I'm actually at work and don't have the opportunity to dig through my poop and find the exact wording.

I have a feeling if you were to google mental health legislation employer responsibilities and further check the accommodation of employees sections you'll find some info. Bill 30 may offer directives as well.

Unlike dingus, I actually feel like you have a brain and will share the relevant info with him once you find it.

GL.

Except you won't even share it and you're the one making there claims

One can't even scratch the surface with you because you are that big of a (frank)ing putz, but if I actually have to let you know that no employer or employee in a supervisory role, or worker can 'yell' at another worker who is dealing with mental health issues... You require way more help than I can provide you with.

Again, stop running your ignorant trap and just learn about it.

- joel878

So Babs knew he was having mental health issues? Did the club? Then why was he in the lineup? Keep calling names but your still just claiming outrage to claim outrage about a situation you know nothing about.

No, they are not solely responsible for as much but they do have a role. Employers are responsible for having a program in place in regards to both identification and assistance.
- joel878

Yes. At my work if you are having issues it's your responsibility tell your boss and then he has measures he takes like giving you time to see someone about it without losing your job. He DOES NOT have to somehow read a persons mind and know they have a mental health issue. Thats what a psychiatrist is for. Only they can identify it and only they can prescribe anything, so stop with your nonsense.

Absolutely never said it wasn't. My response was in regards to the employer having no responsibility, that's it. Feel free not to put words in my mouth.

Or it was talked about a lot...

...in a very, very, very negative way.

I did a very quick googling this afternoon, and from the few articles I read, Franzen seems to indicate he was doing his best to hide it.

We aren't going to solve anything by trying Babcock in a kangaroo court.

Move on.

I don't know how many lengths I have to go to avoiding saying as much, but I have zero interest wasting my time and what little patience I have on you. You just plain, aren't worth it. What some might refer to as a lost cause.

I put the relevant info out there, if someone tells you where the toilet paper is that doesn't mean they're going to come wipe your ass for you. You're going to have to fill your I FoUgHt WiTh SuM1 On Duh InTeRnEtZ quota somewhere else because I honestly don't give a single solitary (frank) what you have to say.

Exactly. The legislation being new doesn't change that this has been an issue for a long time. Society had a problem going about how to tackle as much as well, which is why the bulk of initiatives have been around solving mental health issues, but 'ending the stigma' which has prevented people suffering through it from not wanting to come forward for so long.

Sure its been around for a long time.
The legislation for it hasnt been, and the open discussion about it and readily available knowledge about it hasnt.
Specially in a sporting environment.
