Bobrovsky is going to save Florida's season apparently
- Santo_44

If he turns it on. Maybe
If freddy turns it on and team wins some games in front of our backup (back up makes some more saves)...that could save the season.

Like i said, i dont worry until feb'ish.....even its not the end of the world.

You mean the guy with is 10 years younger than Bobrovsky, was injured and on pace for 90 points before injury and had 94 last season?

What would people say about Bobrovsky if Leafs signed him?

I get it. it's Florida you don't hate them so they get a free pass.

- RogerRoeper

maybe my math isn't great, but I'm pretty sure 18 pts in 18 games doesn't equal a 90 point pace.......unless you count the 5 playoff games the leafs MIGHT get this spring

and either way, you'd think the 3rd or 4th highest paid player in the league could do more than an ..........82 point pace

jesus, he's on the same pace as guys like Schenn, Vrana, Mantha....and like about 6 dmen. definitely worth 11 mil.

Auston Matthews: "We just folded, kind of just quit"

the leafs should be a 110 point team.

the leafs are nowhere close to the team from last year that looked confident and were a lock to win with a 3rd period lead.

we'll see what they are made of shortly. colorado then a 4 game swing against st. louis, vancouver, calgary and edmonton.

these five games likely prove what they are today: a team that won't make the playoffs.

- Tumbleweed

Leafs really only looked like that in October and November,.

The Leafs are quitters.

However the Panthers, Sabres, Habs with almost identical records earn't quitters.

They are 4-2 since Keefe was hired. (frank)ing relax.

Enough of this "quitters" nonsense.

- Santo_44

Matthews said last night the team folded and quit.
Theyve done it before.
So.

You are ignoring points and only bringing up goals because 18 points was too much.

94 points last season at age 21.

But defend Bobrovsky because he's in Florida.

And LOL @ comparing his salary to rookies.

I don't give a poop about bobrovsky............panthers fans weren't all over this site trolling about how dominant their team was going to be (you definitely were)

and I didn't compare his salary to rookies, I compared his production to rookies. and I looked at goals because a guy making 11 mil should probably score more than 15-20 of them. I can look at points too though.....and an 82 point pace for the 4th highest paid player in the NHL is pretty bad

also, 18 pts, when the guys leading the league are in the 40s and scoring at a 130-150pt pace.....is laughable

I dunno, 15-20 goals is a lot to ask of Bobrovsky especially in his first season in Florida

They started off slow with Babs.

They are 4-2 with Keefe, something they couldn't do in 23 games with Babs. Let them (frank)ing show what they are made of first.
