No this team is not as good as the 2010. If anything, that team underachieved in the regular season and showed up in the playoffs.

I’m saying the 2010 team was special because they were special. The closest team I recent Flyers history that I thought was special was 2012 with Jagr, Simmonds, Voracek, Schenn and Couturier in their first seasons here.

Id think that is a reasonable start from Calgary's perspective. He is in the prime of his career, a point producer, signed to a reasonable contract till 21/22. What do you think is a good ask? B.J Crombeen and a 4th?

Gaudreau had 100 points last season. Ghost, Farabee and a for Gaudreau is a highway robbery.

I don't see how that is comparable. Like I said, Gaudreau is coming off of seasons of 84 and 99 points. He finished 4th in Hart trophy voting last year. Gostisbehere had a poor season last year.
I want the Flyers to stay the course. Stop trying to speed up the process. Don't screw up what is starting to look like a good thing. Let the team and the young players develop. They've already compromised the cap enough.

i would move Ghost and some other stuff for Gaudreau. but dont see why CGY would want Ghost. they have a nice collection of Dmen with some young guys really stepping up. they need a top 6 right winger. we need another center.
