2 years ago I would have agreed with you. I liked Lindgren, he was a fighter.

But he's been underwhelming since his interesting stint in the NHL.

At some point you could argue the bad numbers were a reflection of a bad team in Laval. But it's not the case anymore.... and Primeau is so much better than him that it doesn't make him look any better.

Hyman busts his ass and gets them more pucks to play with. He's inproved immensely too in terms of his skill game. And im putting johnson with kerfoot and kapanen because he does have skill, or moreso i should say he goes to the right place to bang in pucks. Thats not needed with matthews and nylander. That was one thing babcock got right about nylander and Matthews then he inexplicably gave hyman to marner and tavares. Whilr it did work, i feel it hurt willie.

I was speaking in general terms.. (about the model, not those specific goalies).
No way Boston or Dallas will trade their backups.
Not sure that Rangers will trade Georgiev either - I wonder they might run with the three goalies next season.
Leafs just need to make a priority of the goalie situation, it's bad management not to have 2 strong goalies on your team.

Johnsson was making that line tick for a few games at the begin of the year...he'll come back to playing well again over the next bit I suspect.

I think teams that have gone the tandem route, value their backup so much that it would take quite the overpayment. I for one wouldn't trade Halak unless my doors were blown off. I really hope we can resign him.

The guy that only has only 14 even strength points less (104 vs 122) than wonderboy Nylander over the last 4 seasons (this one included) - with very similar ATOI (just over 14mins) at even strength.
what is funny though is that "Nylander is on a great deal" with his 6.9mln AAV.

Should put Hyman on top6 - and trade one of Johnsson or Nylander (best the first one since least upside) if Leafs want to keep Mikheyev on top6 (deserves to be there).
