Omg what a pure garbage goal by Hutton. I was hoping for his sake it was deflected, sadly it wasn’t. Unscreened 40 ft writshot that Hutton simply fanned on. And buffalo was dominating ot. Scandella bailed Hutton out with 15 secs left. I don’t care if he had 40 shots against that was a piss poor goal allowed. That’s why he’s a backup i suppose.

Overall i liked the effort - with any puck luck we’d have won by a couple

Btw did Matthews play either game this weekend? Barely noticed him. I know it’s only based on 2 games, but know way in the world do I take Matthews over eichel. Jack has even picked up his physical game

That’s why I laugh at everyone who says Eichel is underachieving. Never mind top 10, he’s a top 5 Center in the league.

Yep Anderson and his 3 crossbars and a goal they were too afraid to call stoke the game. Really good effort. Reinhart could have scored a couple but hit two crossbars, oloffson could have had 3 or 4, including 2 in ot. Sheary finally scored.....oh wait

Say what you will about Krueger, but he will have this team going in the right direction. I said it before that I was placing my bet on him, and I'd double down now.

Sure, some of his line/pairing combinations are worthy of scratching one's head, but he is a leader of men. I'll take that attribute for where the team is in their transition from a bunch of lost souls to forming a team identity.

Time for Granado and Smith to step it up as far as X's and O's, especially Smith IMO.

I'm sure they'll work incredibly hard just for you on that.

Probably cuz Hutton reached out to poke check and the puck went up his stick into the net, he basically score on himself

Btw, 8 straight losses for Hutton - solid!! Both teams made the mistake of playing backup goalies in this home and home and paid for it.

Hutton is mystifying. When he's on, he's very good, when he's not, well, I'd rather have the Sabres vintage of Patty Lalime over him. And it's not like it's game to game, it's month to month. He was lights out in October.
