Think honestly they wanted to give Hutch one last chance and see. Don't think it really matters which game it was. He needed to play outstanding and give us a chance to win it and well that didn't really happen. I'm expecting a move here and pretty fast.

Yeah for sure. They’re learning a new system so some ugly plays will most likely happen so it would be nice if our goalies could bail us out until we get comfortable.

Hutch needs to be put in a cannon and shot to the moon.

This game was not on Nylander.

Hutchinson cant stop a beach ball. Matthews wasn't even AHL quality. It was a new low, even for him. He was better 3 years ago, a LOT better.

Every shot, wide.

He NEVER engages physically. Loses every battle. Also, he’s a play killer. He always makes some bonehead pass when they gain the zone.

For sure he was having a weird game though. Showing a number of times that he is one of the best in the game, but also having, imho, his worst game ever when it comes to careless passes and just playing a low hockey-IQ game. He was responsible for at least 2 goals against imo.

Yeah he had a bad game, no argument there. It’s the irrational dislike for our best players by our “fans” that confuses me.
I’ve seen Crosby, McDavid, and Ovi have some real stinkers and I’m pretty sure their own fans don’t turn on them.
