“ Eric Lindros.
That has been the tagline to describe Quinton Byfield recently. While this comparison may be a bit exaggerated and unfair, it does display how high many believe his ceiling can be. His physical appearance alone is very intriguing. There are not many strong skating 6-foot-5, 215 pounds, 17-year-old centers in the hockey world, let alone those that possess the amount of sheer skill he does.”

If there are about a dozen or so prospects whom could be selected after the two, how many are cemters? what style do they play/picture as a one & two punch with Dach and the 2020 first round pick. And this means no T Hall trade. No problem since I wasn't seriously intetested. Hall will cost a lot in a bidding scramble for his service anyway.
ALSO THIS: I am concerned how interested Lehner is to re-sign. He is a competitive vocal guy and I question if he is very down regarding the various defensive schemes and talent of the dmen. Perhaps at odds with Toews too?
You can sell to him all these great prospects but how they mix in with a veteran core and Colliton is perplexing.
And: I suggest that Toews is dogging it because he is no longer capable. Cmon'' now he falls down too much and gets pushed around. MAYBE it is not his heart but his level of compete is just not very good now in 2019/20. Emphasis on MAYBE
Do you have an explanation or any way to support there is a better version of Toews say post holidays. I cannot blame him feeling owed for all he meant helping bring three Cups. But he is holding us back now.
Seabrook I can accept in third pair and depth even one more season. I am totally against giving a top line prospect or a #1 as basic price to Seattle if he even waives no trade clause.
In a previous blog I had suggested that would be the price to move him. Maybe even a bit steeper.
I could imagine toss in players whom might just surprise. Like Tuulola. Or a veteran like Carpenter.
You know each team is facing same dilemma. Teams want to control which players get drafted or put another way.....teams want to ensure whom is their top seven even top eight. How many #1picks did Vegas accumulate? Four in one draft; more in subsequent drafts?
I am just bringing up some options. I would guess that Seabrook does not waive his no trade clause. But then again he wants to play but would he want to play more for an expansion team or play less as our prospects filter in?
