Yeah I ripped on Kane for something. It's something he has consistently done throughout his career(failure to backcheck). If you're looking at points as the only barometer of a player I don't think this discussion needs to continue.

Kane is paid to score and he does. He is average defensively most nights. The barometer for Kane has always been points.

He’s the best player on the Hawks and it’s not even close.

Think we’re on the same page. It’s the price of winning...and while the Bruins have been able to retool more quickly, they only had to pay for winning one Cup.

Yeah I agree with that. And look at the Kings now, too. They've been the example for how not to retool.

Bergeron Krejic and Marchand are all elite or near elite players still. It helps Marchand turned into an 80pt plus player too.

Nylander has done nothing to deserve PP time. His compete level is atrocious.

That's a Colliton decision. 2 more losses vs St. Louis and Boston should be the end of JC. This team fails to hustle and compete. A coaching change has to happen. He's had enough time to put his stamp on this team.

Think he needs another benching. That hustle we saw early on seems to have worn off. Kubalik shine has worn off too.

This is ugly. I stand by the statement I made after the game yesterday - the Hawks can't skate with the Avs. The Av's quickness and speed overwhelm the Hawks players. The Hawks best play is to ice the puck.

5-1 this team is beyond awful . Stan should be immediately fired for constructing this dumpster fire.

Lehner deserved better. Murphy is awful he fell on his poop .
Toews is washed up , he doesn't deserve the c on his chest .

So, the stellar goaltending that I questioned & asked about the shots, high danger/second chances, & players should help out the goaltender & block shots ... I was told to not worry because they were winning & the goalies would be fine. It was the hockey the hawks play. I bring this back up because it isn't working. We are a bubble team, but the difference between cup competitors & bubble teams IS HUGE!
