No, no it is not. While it may be true that the idiots slinging racist comments are not racist for reasons of poor gaming behavior, the fact that SSB thinks they are says it all. I was never personally confronted by racism until I was 18. I was so utterly shocked that people my own age thought in that way. I’m thankful to be raised colorblind, and I feel sad for those who have been indoctrinated with prejudices and hate. Don’t dismiss how someone else sees or feels a situation so quickly. We all have had different experiences.

I played in a drop-in where everything was fine and than the group I was played with started to drop the N-bomb. So I notified them that I’m black. So they kept doing it and I got irritated, which they took pleasure in and wouldn’t pass to me. Being told that hockey is a white sport. This happened.

Hey buddy. I literally was only talking about the part where he said people are racists for not passing to him in a video game because his skin color. I said that is nonsense "Newsflash, it is" probably because you never have played the game. But that is ok. I hope he can recover from not being passed to in NHL 20 though. Serious oppression. It is xbox. People use slurs because they are childish. You simply report them and they get banned for months at a time since they can review the audio. Honestly everyone that plays xbox gets called every name in the book just because thats how video game players are sometimes. Maybe playing in an environment where you know people say things to get under others skins isn't a good idea if you take it that badly

Agreed it is super messed up. However it is xbox and if you tell trolls like that what makes you upset then you just made it 100 times easier for them to say things to piss you off. People like that have no limits. I am probably one of the best NHL players in the game and if I go into the game mode hes talking about (which I have and has happened) people would also not pass the puck to me and say whatever they could to try to hurt feelings because those types of people have only 1 goal and it is to be a little poop over voice communications because they cant be hurt physically. Theres a nifty option though where you can mute these people by pressing literally 2 buttons. Maybe SSB just likes leaving those types of people unmuted because he isn't very smart
