The thing I see with Konecny that has me most excited is that he's not just an offensive and spark plug player. He has really developed his play away from the puck. He made numerous quality defensive plays last night. I didn't think this would happen but I now trust Konecny as an all situations player. I wouldn't change the PK because it's doing so well but he might be able to play there also.

Didn’t get to watch, but finally saw our goals. Great hard work from Pitlick and well deserved. His game has been very strong over the last several games. Nice to see him rewarded

There’s a ton of noticeable growth from last year’s young players but TK has blown the doors off. With Farabee, Myers and Frost getting their starts, it’s far and away better potential than in recent years. The bright future we all hoped for is dawning.

Agree with the posts calling out the vets for not producing. I do see a noticeable improvement from a Giroux lately, he’s had some great games in the last handful.
JvR continues to struggle but is working hard on his 2 way game and hopefully goals start to come. Jake has shown a bit of fire lately and is starting to produce. He will absolutely need to continue to produce on a line with Couts which is clearly AV’s first choice to play against other team’s stars.
Hayes has been disappointing in his offense but he’s still positively contributing to the team winning in other areas. Not enough to justify his contract, but I think he’s helped them overall. He needs to put some goals up for certain.

Love how the coach has handled the team and rewards good play with more minutes. He has a great feel for the team and players and can call out players effectively when they aren’t performing. Interesting to watch how things proceed with Ghost in the near term.

Organized hockey aside because I’m too old to go down that road in my late 30’s. I really enjoy EACHL on Xbox. The problem is, in an online world nobody can see each other. So the majority assumes everyone is right. So the N-Bomb is dropped a lot. Ignorant people create black players in a racially motivated way. I’ve had players not pass to me because they realize I’m black. It’s really sad.

If you are playing drop in games you are bound to play with the worst possible players who don't know their bumhole from their elbow. Just because they suck or are trying to be a hero by not passing the puck in a video game to you doesnt make them racist just because your player is black.

I played in a drop-in where everything was fine and than the group I was played with started to drop the N-bomb. So I notified them that I’m black. So they kept doing it and I got irritated, which they took pleasure in and wouldn’t pass to me. Being told that hockey is a white sport. This happened.

You know what’s funny? Your comment of “its never happened to me, therefore it never happened” is pure ignorance. All for what? You don’t like me. So I’m lying, right?

No, no it is not. While it may be true that the idiots slinging racist comments are not racist for reasons of poor gaming behavior, the fact that SSB thinks they are says it all. I was never personally confronted by racism until I was 18. I was so utterly shocked that people my own age thought in that way. I’m thankful to be raised colorblind, and I feel sad for those who have been indoctrinated with prejudices and hate. Don’t dismiss how someone else sees or feels a situation so quickly. We all have had different experiences.
