Laugh if you want, but what do you call it when a guy who shoots 10% for 1000 games goes on a 25 game stretch where he shoots 2%?
Of the forwards who have played the same amount of minutes as Kessel, he has the lowest shooting percentage. Do we think that given his history that makes any sense?
What is more likely, that Kessel is just cold due to bad luck, or he suddenly because a worse shooter than Frederick Gauthier? - James_Tanner
Maybe his skills are declining. It happens, to everyone. Father time is undefeated. I watched Teemu Selanne decline right before my eyes. The scary thing is how quickly it happens. |

What do you call it when the Toronto real estate market posts gains higher than the stock market, year after year?
Happy US Thanksgiving, Tanner. |

"Kessel might only have six 5v5 points, but if he keeps the process going, he's bound to get back on track. The guy definitely isn't a 2% shooter - he's a hall of famer whose game has barely, if at all, dropped off."
That's quite a statement. Better players than him have not made the hall. He's a longshot at best, in my opinion. |

Maybe they are, but then again, the numbers that we know with 100% certainty are better than points for predicting future performance are all just as good - if not better - than he's always been.
2% shooting is several percentage points lower than even the worst shooter in the NHL will score, so as usual, I am right. |

Wow - looks like someone does not trust Kessel in his own end.
Like, at all. |

Another clear example of why owning is so much better then renting! |
