I completely hear what you're saying here. A win is a win and two points in the standings. However, Flyers games are following a familiar pattern. Slow starting mediocre first periods followed by strong to dominant 2nd periods. If the Flyers have the lead in the 3rd, they spend the entire period defending. A hair of a skate blade kept them up. It's too fine of a line. I want to see the Flyers continuing to push and attack when they have a lead. So many of those types of games can easily turn the other way.

Team winning games is more important than production. It would be nice if every one was producing but the goal is to win the cup and low scoring games are the ones you need to be able to close out. Those are the games you are going to get in the playoffs.

We can also win games where we suck, lose games where they play great.

100 out of 100 times I will take a 3-2 win where they didn't play great the whole time vs a 5-4 loss where they played great and got goals from Hayes and JVR.

It’s a win! Giroux right where is belongs with the GWG. Elliott with skate blades for days. Still need to score on the giant empty net guys....not naming names but next time, okay.

Seriously though, just because they win doesn’t mean they are content. Continuing to win involves strategy, improvements and commitment. However, if they were to say go all the way in a similar fashion and win the cup in a game 7 by 1 goal, yeah...if I cry about it, it wouldn’t be because I was sad or disappointed. Winning is always fine by me.
