I didn't even realize that Cernak only got 2 games for that elbow on Dahlin. That's preposterous.

The DoPS is so broken. They should clean house and bring in people with a clear vision and plan that can be communicated and enforced.

If a play like Kerfoot's merits 2 games, which - fine, let's say it does - then a far more egregious elbow shot to a guy's head should bring in at least 5 games. Bortuzzo should have received far more than 4. They have no idea what they are trying to preach and no one - not fans, not players, not coaches, and not GM's have any clue what's going to come out of that embarrassing spinning wheel of discipline.

Nice dark salty beef gravy

I think it's nothing more than what they said. A 19 year old who has had his way with his peers and faced little adversity in terms of people stopping him wasn't putting in the effort he needed to. He was called out for it - privately, and used other vets as a way to show what he needed to do better and who he needed to be more like.

It was poor judgement by Babs to continue to use that as a way to try and motivate Kadri and Bozak.

Or was it? Since it seemed to get the team more together, they rallied behind the 19 year old rookie and the message he was trying to send was still clearly sent to the players he wanted to receive it.

It was a Richard move, but it did exactly what he wanted.

Floated the idea of an HB Dynasty league in the last thread before Lucas rudely launched his new one. PM if you’re interested. I know it’s a bit late, but maybe we can kick one off this year and keep it going. If anyone has any experience running a dynasty league, I’d also be willing to defer to you if you’d like. Kind of a fluid situation.
