And folks often say, “nobody wants to see that”. But it sure happens quite a bit for something no one wants to see. I think more people want to see this than would care to admit.

You know i gotta ask myself something. We pĺayed 3 games against tampa. We lost 2 players by cheap shots and pretty obvious. I know the sabres didnt do something about it but no call on the ice no actions against kucherov this smells like corruption to me.

Bill's are going to be in trouble against the Ravens if Baltimare keeps playing like this.

The Kuch hit in the Sweden game (to my eyes) was not nearly as blatant as this one. Cernak had his arm up high and led with the elbow. One could argue some nuances on the Kuch hit (I know everyone here will disagree), but I can't defend this Cernak hit. I completely understand if somebody runs the poop out of him next time these two teams meet.

I'm not gonna argue with you on the Cernak hit. I don't think the Kuch hit was nearly as dirty as Cernak's elbow. If I was a Buffalo fan, I'd want blood on both. I get that.

I can tell you this much. You go after the guy who did it. Going after someone who didn't do it and likely wouldn't approve of it, is just as dirty (or worse) than what Cernak did. Stamkos has had enough physical adversity and isn't a dirty player. Kuch on the other hand.... well, like I said, I disagree on the degree of dirtiness, but at least he did it. So, payback is fairplay I guess.

Toronto goes out an hires a bunch of hockey people and assemble a team that has all kinds of talent.we have been picking top ten for 8 years and have 5 good players... THAT is the problem.

Maybe not the best comparison in light of recent events. Plus what have they gotten out of all their great players except consecutive first round exits and cap hell for the foreseeable future.

The Sabres will be good once they eventually hit on players not in round 1.
