The Sabres have had 11 games At or above 50% expected goal. 11 under 50%.

They’ve been creeping upwards last 3 games.

Well hopefully they can keep the needle going up, if they could get some bounces there way would help to.

Vesey on the top line, Skinner stuck with erod and Sheary. Not exactly inspiring.

Dahlin plays better with Bogo because he plays confident knowing he is strong.

It’s why McDavid wanted to play with Lucic, basically what I’m saying is Fitz keeps asking me to go to the park and it’s freaking me out.

The funny thing about Krueger's "need to have 2 lines" approach is that you need to first have 1 line to have 2 lines. We have 3 good forwards. Just give me one sweet line that's fun to watch. Krueger is between a rock and a hard place though

Pretty much, share the skill and make 2 lines that can't score more than a goal or 2 a game.....

I understand the thought process, but in retrospect, after the Mojo injury, he should have circled the wagons and just condensed the talent to the first line. The results speak for themselves

So how about this for a prediction... If the Sabres sink to the bottom again this season, and it certainly looks like they will, I say Eichel demands a trade during the off season so he can possibly play for a team that has a chance to win a Stanley Cup by the year 2100. And who can blame him. The Sabres haven't improved one bit since his rookie season. ......

He won’t cuz he knows it’ll be a bad look and the Sabres won’t accomodate

We can agree to disagree.... Eichel does not want to live in last place until he retires. Hios prime age is here and he wants to win... NOW....

Don't worry he would get his 10 million wherever he played and would actually have a chance to play in the playoffs, more money there too,

I would think he was talked to about the plan by Botts when he signed his contract, sure he probably didn't expect Housley to fail. But I think the big picture was discussed during his contract talks.

Unfortunately I believe the BIG PICTUTRE in Buffalo is more like the doodling of a 5 year old... There is no plan regardless of what anyone says...

Disco dan was a pairs guy too. I think coaches talk more about pairs when they dont have the talent to put together 3 good players on more than one line. Or more than 2 for that matter. Hence the scoreless wonder on line 1

I'm formally placing my bet down on Ralph Krueger, leader of men to get the boys playing as a team again to demonstrate his staff and the system will work when properly rostered. He will also help Jack and the rest of the young core to accept the challenge and lead the charge.
That may not translate to wins, since the talent gap us rather significant, but he will succeed in controlling what he can control.

I have faith in him.

Now, if Bott's reported hard work can translate into a solid move or two over the next 4 weeks, perhaps Sabres Hockey will be fun again!
