2 points more this November than last season with 3 games to go.

Back to Back vs the Oilers to end and start the month too.

5 more regulation wins is where I think we'll be. 2 more points at this point over last year doesn't really translate to playoffs lol but all good. I hope they make it...but just can't see it.

Oilers are no easy wins anymore.

I watched that Oilers game last night, against a very good Vegas team they looked good. I’ve been waiting for them to come back to earth but they’re managing their game in all three zones much better #Tippett
- Pacificgem

They have bought in to what Tippett has been selling them defensively. They still need bottom 6 depth but they are on their way.

They did look good, vegas lacks the star power but a heavy team, they are weak at the center position imo.

There isn't any easy wins for anyone, you have to bring it every night. They lost to the kings badly because they didn't bring it.

It’s really your third line that has to be effective, they’re an important ingredient in successful teams. Fourth line guys just eat 8 or 9 minutes a game to give the other three lines a rest. And they rarely play much in the third period. Sure they need to be quality players but the most important thing is for them to responsible defensively.

Always seem to have a good October and a mediocre November lol.

But the WAS win was a good sign. This team is 'learning' how to win those types of games and you could be correct it may come down to the last 10 games to prove it.

Just want to see exciting Hockey and an improvement in the standings. Which we are getting for the most part.

We had a 13 game slide last Nov. Not happening this year. At least not in November.

The team is much better than it was just a few years ago, that’s what losing does. Plus Markstrom is a better player now than he was a few years ago. More talent, more depth and better goaltending equals better results.

He gets his teams to buy in. Beat Mcdavid and Drais and you beat the Oilers though. Simple as that.

SN Freidman said last night Benning will be talking to Markstrom soon. I hope they both use common sense and find a deal that will keep him for about 4 years.

Oh for sure, but they are playing better defensively, which is helping on top of the magnificent duo.

You are still expecting the Oilers to slide. Don't expect it under Tippett.

1. Is this team much different from last year’s?

The d has escaped injury so far, tanev is still upright edler got hurt last game, does Quinn take the big matchups? I think he would have to unless you throw benn in there.

He’s 30 in January, a two year deal at max, it’s Demko time. Weren’t we just talking about how Boston cuts bait on players so well?

He was a good hire it appears, his coaching gets old amongst the players history tells me, time will tell.

We would need to lose the next 6 games in a row and still be 2 points ahead of where we were at the 30 game mark though.

Edler was cut from that skate, risk of infection is high when sweating like they do. He’ll be back quickly.

He coached in both Dallas and Phoenix for long periods with good success despite less than fantastic lineups. Guys a great coach!
