Man it was such a great signing to lock TK and provy up for long contracts. Both deals will be steals quicker than you know it

There have been a number of moves made by the Flyers that really indicate where they see Stewart as a player. The alarmists that Stewart has played X amount of games are really narrow minded. The only reason that was the case is because players such as Pitlick struggled to find their game. When they needed a player they called up Andreoff. When they felt they needed offense they called up Farabee and Frost. They like Stewart as a 13th forward due to intangibles, leadership and the positive influence he is on the team. It's that simple. It's the same stuff over and over from elements of the fanbase.

gotta load manage niskanen

Niskanen not only has been solid in 5 on 5 as a partner for Provorov, he has also been a big factor in the improvement in the Flyers special teams. Myers has been good for a rookie but hasn't been close to making the same impact as Niskanen has.

I get this and in a vacuum I would agree. I think the bottom line is that the organization is much more comfortable with Stewart being in the press box for long periods of time, while they want Andreoff to be playing. Whether in be in the AHL or the NHL.

I agree with this assessment. Andreoff seemed to be a leader in Lehigh Valley....and they're going through some tough times right now.
