Yup. It's such an instinctive thing to do too.

The biggest tell for me this year was when Ceci and Harpur both said how much more complicated the systems were with Babcock.

Yea, could be Babcock or could be that he wasn't showing anything in practice to justify getting into games and when he did he wasn't good. But based on what he showed before this year he didn't look like an NHL player and it made sense that he wasn't playing much, in my opinion.

This year he has shown another level and deserves to be given more ice and he is.

Oz showed what exactly? I saw a couple practices durning training camp and an interquad game. Oz was a disaster the whole time. He was a mess is the exhibition games. But he played regularly, and sucked balls doing it and didn't lose his spot until muzzin's got here.

Holl was one of the Marlies best dmen 2 years ago, and when marincicn was there is was a (frank)ing train wreck but he got into games ahead of holl.
