Yeah, he is a 6/7 guy, I agree. I was saying in the last thread that he has the skills to be a 3/4 guy (size, above average skater, decent shot, decent pass), but he doesn't have the HockeyIQ to support it.

The only other guy who I thought had a mediocre first period was Johnsson. You could argue about Nylander as well, he could be more . . well, just more.

I think they might just let Sandin run the D in the AHL. He may force their hand, but that will burn a year on his ELC that they currently don't need to burn.
