Have yourself a coffee in between every two “hazy little things”. You’ll be fine.
Or just mix whiskey with your coffee. That works too. |

I do not think it will happen and it's not about not liking Boychuk but it would open up a spot for Dobson next year and the Isles have to create Cap space somewhere and getting someone to take Hickey will not do much. If getting rid of Ladd is not an option you have to look at Bailey or Boychuk. Boychuk has been great with leadership but after this year and what will hopefully be a nice playoff run, the young dmen should be good in terms of experience. Cannot have Dobson sitting most of next year as well and Wahlstrom may be ready. It makes sense to look at Bailey and Boychuk as the Isles have young players that may be able to step in. - ses111
All I’ve seen of Dobson so far is the kid isn’t ready yet imo. He shows flashes in what limited time I’ve seen him play but that’s it. There’s a reason he’s not in the line up. He’ll get an opportunity once there’s an injury fortunately/unfortunately depending on how you view his lack of ice time that hasn’t happened yet. There is a zero percent chance the coaching staff or GM is looking at opening a spot for Dobson as a reason to get rid of boychuck. Cap space, age, diminishing of play yeah but Dobson is not part of the criteria.[url] |

I have no issue with Dobson not playing a lot this year but next year is another story and you cannot have him sitting much of next year. I doubt that will happen. Cap Space would be the reason for getting rid of Boychuk. Lou and Barry both seem very high on Dobson. Barry really seems to like Bailey as well. That can change though if the team and Bailey in particular have another no show in the 2nd round. Let's hope it does not come to that. |

Food just takes up valuable space that could be used for more alcohol. |

Next season Dobson will be AHL-eligible, so I don't think you need to be concerned about a lack of playing time. If there's a logjam on the Island, Dobson can work on his game in Bridgeport. |

This is true. Bridge will be an option. Going to be a very interesting rest of the season and offseason. I did think there will be a ton of pressure for the Isles to make the Eastern Conference finals this year. Anything less is a failure. |

Come on winning one round and being happy with it is Garth and Cappy thinking. After winning one round last year and the point streak this year, the bar has been raised. |

Playoffs are a crap shoot to an extent. You can run into a hot team along with countless other things and who knows. Calling a season a failure if you don’t make it to the conference finals is a bit extreme imo just my two cents. If we won the Presidents trophy and lost in a seven games series in the second round you’d consider the season a failure? |

Playoffs are a crapshoot man. Loads of great teams fall in the 1st round. The important thing is just to make the show. |

“ Cannot have Dobson sitting most of next year as well”
I don’t disagree it wouldn’t be optimum to have him sitting next year as well but if he isn’t ready and our line up and blue line are doing well he doesn’t have a spot. Of course Lou and Trotz are high on Dobson but they’re taking a slow approach with him. He’ll get time our blue line has been fortunate enough to have just one injury so far. That’ll change. |

How can you not agree with me Cpt?
No Eastern Conference finals since 1993 it's time. I think any loss in the 2nd round is a failure. In past years maybe not so much. He's not the end all and be all but even Evan Roberts mentioned after last year and this streak, the bar has been raised this year. |

Everyone wants them to get to the conference finals and the cup ultimately but like I said for me I wouldn’t necessarily label the season a failure if they didn’t advance to the conference finals. There’s to many variables. Also, it would have a ton to do with how it went down. |
