I know! Under Snow and Crappy I only expected failure! Crappy's 10+ game losing streak every November took all the pressure off. Everyone knew they weren't going anywhere.

NHL playoffs are more unpredictable then any other sport imo. If they got shalacked by a team and didn’t put up a fight yeah I’d be pissed but if they lost in the second or even the first round and battled hawd but lost what are you going to do? That’s hockey. I wasn’t happy with them against Carolina I thought they could’ve been better. That kind of performance would piss me off because I know they can play better than that but I don’t think we’ll see anything close to that again but it’s that NHL playoffs... Look what happened to Washington and Tampa last season.

I generally only watch hockey and football. I think there are plenty of upsets in football too.

The way the Isles have been playing and the number of ways they are finding to win gives me a lot of hope. I expect the Isles to come back to earth soon, but this streak shows that if they play smart they can beat anyone. If that will that play out over a seven game series remains to be seen. The great thing about a seven game series is it doesn't get decided by some fluke.

I don’t watch any other sport(besides when I was a kid I played and watched baseball)but to me from what little I honestly know about other sports or have seen there seems to be more upsets in hockey but maybe I’m wrong? As far as the rest I agree. This team is resilient. Great in OT and seems to handle pressure like they’re just going about their business. They play a team defense. All things that make a good playoff team.

Believe me I won’t be on here preaching patience if they get destroyed in the playoffs I have expectations also but I’m not going to lose my mind if they don’t make the conference finals if the effort is there. I get it we all want to see progression and I’m right there with everyone but if they play good and run into a buzz saw that to me is just hockey. If they mail it in like they did at times against Carolina I’ll be pissed.
